OCTOBER 5TH WEEKLY SCHEDULE FOR AP ENGLISH LITERATURE Monday, October 5th: Brief discussion of the Fibonacci number series Read and discuss “The Myth of the Cave” (Allegory of the Cave) Read and discuss Aristotle: What is Being? Read and discuss “The Four Becauses” Tuesday, October 6th: Shortened day! Continue our investigation into Aristotle. Wednesday, October 7th: For the first ten minutes of the class we will break into our lit term teams and work on our literary terms presentations. We will also be assigned times to present. The presentations will begin when we finish Aristotle’s Poetics. Break into another group, choose a segment of Aristotle’s Poetics and prepare a presentation to teach the rest of the class. We will begin the presentations on Friday, October 9th. Thursday, October 8th: Same as Wednesday, October 7th. Friday, October 9th: Begin our Aristotle’s Poetics presentations.
