DECEMBER 15th - 19th AP English Weekly Agenda Monday, December 15th: Work on the Tableaux for the first ten minutes of class and then present. Please read Act Three over the weekend. Discussion of Act Three. Please keep reading log which should include a brief summary, literary devices, motifs, themes and character analysis you may notice. Please remember to work on your Theme Wheel. Tuesday, December 16th: Shortened Day. Break into groups of three or four, choose a scene from Act Three; you will present to the class a tableau from your scene and then a brief summary; presentation of literary devices (including motifs and themes) and character analysis you may notice in your particular scene. Wednesday, December 17th: Continue presenting. Brief discussions following each presentations. Watch movie. Your Act Three Open Book Test will be due today. Please read Act Four tonight. December 8th - 12th Weekly Agenda for AP English Literature Monday, December 8th: Warm-up: Using your vocabulary words from Unit 3, write two sentences with periodic sentence structure; two sentences with loose sentence structure and one with a balanced sentence structure.
