December 3, 2012 – December 7 th Weekly Agenda for A.P. English Literature Monday, December 3 rd : Please bring your packet to class today. We will go over “Meditation 17”   by John Donne and “To His Coy Mistress” by Andrew Marvell. Please bring your yellow and black book, CLIFFNOTES.   We will do the multiple choice questions over John Donne’s essay “Medition”, page 185. Tuesday, December 4 th : Homework assignment on adjective clauses.   Briefly go over.   The assignment on adjective clauses will be due on Wednesday, December 5 th . The packet on Elizabethan sonnets by Shakespeare will be passed out and assigned today.   For homework, please read all the sonnets   and answer the questions. We will pair up, choose one of the sonnets to analyze and present to the class. Wednesday, December 5 th : Sonnet presentations Thursday, December 6 th : Read prompts and released student essays.
