Hello! Mr. Benainous and I are going to be in New York until February 1st, so there won't be any postings after today for a week. (We will, however, have house sitters taking care of our cats.) Please continue reading Crime and Punishment and answering the questions I've posted. If I have time tonight I will do one more posting on the weblog. Don't get lazy! Please bear in mind that in February we will move onto MADAME BOVARY by Gustave Flaubert. Our first class meeting will probably be at noon in 503 on Wednesday, February 4th. If you wish to e-mail me regarding class or questions about the work, please do so at jkatbridge@aol.com.

The rehearsals will initially start off once a week for a couple of hours - the times remain to be set, but probably they will be right after school. There is no transportation, but the theatre is very close. It...
Hi Everyone!
Greetings AP Students! Today start reading CRIME AND PUNISHMENT by Dostoyevsky. Give yourself a month to read it. CRIME AND PUNISHMENT is going to be one of the books we will be discussing in February. The other one will be MADAME BOVARY by Flaubert. Please check in at least once a week during January for updates and assignments. It looks as if the meeting time in February will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at about 12 or 1 o'clock. I'll keep you posted as to exact time and place as soon as I know. Start reading! And enjoy! Ms. Bridges
