Hello!
Sorry I haven't written in a while; however, the weblog and the entire website for Hollywood High was down for about a week, but it's up and running again.
I have some news for those of you interested in theatre; it has to do with The ACTORS' GANG theatre on Santa Monica in Hollywood - that's the same theatre where we saw ORLANDO and EMBEDDED. They are starting a new program the third week in February - around February 23rd to be exact - and they are looking for about twenty dedicated actors and writers - and anybody who has a creative bent - to help create, produce and perform a staged play. This will be a play you will help create. You do not have to be a performer to participate. They are looking for people with ideas and people who can write.

The rehearsals will initially start off once a week for a couple of hours - the times remain to be set, but probably they will be right after school. There is no transportation, but the theatre is very close. It's on Santa Monica, about one block east of Vine, walking distance from the school. As you get closer to opening night, there will be more and longer rehearsals. I think the projected performance dates would be in May - I think. We may be able to arrange a special deal where you can get credit in your drama class for your participation in the Actors' Gang production. If you are interested please call:

AMANDA CARTER: 1-323-465-0566

She is the organizer in charge of the program. Some of you have already met her at the performance of EMBEDDED. Please give her a call.
