WEEKLY SCHEDULE
FOR AP ENGLISH


MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST:

We will do the analysis of that long awaited Sharon Olds’ poem entitled “The Subway”.
We will also work on the extra credit vocabulary “word study”.



TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND:

Today we will tape the extra credit vocabulary “word study”.
Since I know how much you all love grammar I am going to assign some of it to you today. It is in your Warriner’s grammar book; pages_____; exercise _____; “Identifying Parts of the Sentence.” It will be due on Friday, November 5th. And today, if there is time, I really will bore you with a lecture on the history of the English language.



WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD:

Today is the day your long awaited Oedipus papers are due! After that, we will continue our stroll down English history lane.



THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH:

Today is COLLEGE FAIR! So you are all going to be out frolicking and having a good time while I will be quietly grading....papers...papers...and more papers..........



FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH:

Please bring your vocabulary book today for Unit 4 will be assigned - yeah! It will be due on Wednesday, November 10th. We will also go over the grammar homework because it’s due - today. We will also read some excerpts from Beowulf.
