We will go over the vocabulary review homework, units 1 - 3 review. This will be due on Monday, November 15th.
I really will bore you today over the history of the English language. We will divide into collaborative groups, read, discuss, analyze, make posters, etc., and make presentations over the history of the English language.

We will continue our foray into the misty past of the English language, and you will continue your presentations.

We will finish up our wild adventures into the dark, dangerous and frequently bloody history of the English language, and I will deliver a brief overview and wrapping up over the history of the English language today. We will look at a few examples of poetry and other forms of writings from the early misty past of English.
Thursday, November 11th, Veterans’ Day:
No school today. Yeah! So spend the day instead in gratitude to those soldiers who have fought and are still fighting for the ideals of freedom and democracy.
Friday, November 12th:
Your essay on “On the Subway” due today! We will do cleanup on any left over work this week; then, we will take a look at some ancient poetry and Beowulf.
