Tuesday, November 9th:

Beginning activity: Quick little review on run-ons and sentence fragments. What fun!

Read The Crucible!



Wednesday, November 10th:

Beginning activity: Yet another quick little review on run-ons and sentence fragments. What fun!

The final draft of your literary analysis, your corrected rough drafts and your reading logs are due today! I need some reading material for my day off so don’t disappoint!

Thursday, November 11th, Veterans’ Day:

No school today! Yeah! So spend the day in gratitude to those brave soldiers who have fought and/or still are fighting for the ideals of freedom and democracy. I will spend the day reading your fabulous literary analysis.



Friday, November 12th:

Finish reading The Crucible. Discussion about the real persons and events of the Salem witch trials, the possible explanations for the hysteria, and the eventual fate of the various participants in the story.

I smell another essay coming! But I have to give it some thought so I will get back to you on that one.
