JUNE 11, 2007
Schedule for AP Literature

Monday, June 11th:

Continue research in the library.

Tuesday, June 12th:

Shortened day!

Continue research in the library.

Wednesday, June 13th:

Back in #508.

You should have five sources:

At least two different books by different authors
One from a journal, an article, or a newspaper
One from an internet source

You should have correct MLA formation for the sources. You can find how to do the correct MLA formation in the TEN STEPS TO WRITING A RESEARCH PAPER.

You should also have the information you are going to use in your research paper already written out or printed out. The information can be on note cards or paper, but you should have them available to you with the page numbers and bibliographic information. The bibliographic information for a book or a journal includes the author’s name, title of the book, article, name of the journal, the publishing house, city and copyright date. The bibliographic information for a internet source should include the url address so that the teacher can type in the address and find it immediately.

Please be aware that you will not be able to check out books from the school library for this research.

Thursday, June 14th:

Begin working on your research paper.

Friday, June 15th:

Today please have ready all the work you have done so far on the research paper. At this point you should be finished with your research, have your bibliographic information, your note cards and a completed rough draft. How well you do on this may determine whether you pass this class.

SENIOR FAILS ARE DUE TODAY. IF YOU DO NOT TURN IN YOUR WORK FOR THE RESEARCH PAPER THEN YOU MAY BE IN DANGER OF FAILING.
