Don’t forget to do Cornell Notes as you are reading.

Your adverbial clause handout is due today.
Your outline for pages 3 - 9 is due
Read and discuss BEOWULF
A handout on unscrambling adverbial clauses will be given to you. This assignment will be due on Thursday, December 3rd.

ASSIGNMENT:
On page 26 there are four translated verses from BEOWULF; the assignment is to choose two of the four passages and compare them as to which one is the more poetic, forceful and descriptive. The assignment should be about four paragraphs long and should have examples from each of the two passages to support your thesis.

THE ABOVE ASSIGNMENT WILL BE DUE ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8TH.

Friday, December 4th:
Read and discuss BEOWULF.
There will be a reading assignment for BEOWULF over the weekend.
